Chantal Bizzini, poet and translator, born in 1956, lives in Paris, where she teaches classical literature. Her poems and translations of English poetry—notably poems by Ezra Pound, Hart Crane, W.H. Auden, Adrienne Rich, Denise Levertov, John Ashbery, Clayton Eshelman, Jorie Graham, and of Italian poetry, have been published in various reviews: Po&esie, Europe, Poesie 2008, Action Poetique, Le Mache-Laurier, Rehauts, Siecle 21. Her translations of the complete works of Hart Crane will be published by Editions Circe, as will an anthology of the poems of Adrienne Rich.
