Cristina Trapani-Scott

Cristina Trapani-Scott born and raised in Michigan and continues to live in Michigan with her husband and two children. She’s worked as a reporter for an independent weekly newspaper in Tecumseh for nearly ten years and she keeps two blogs, Cristina Continued at www.tecumsehherald.com and When One Word Drops from the Sky at www.survivorscribe.wordpress.com.

Her poems have a appeared in Hip Mama magazine, Mamazine.com and the Writers Reading at Sweetwaters Anthology. She also has poems forthcoming in More Sweet Lemons: An Anthology of Writing on Sicilian Culture. Cristina also writes fiction and currently is at work on a novel. She will graduate in May with an MFA in fiction and poetry from Spalding University.

She’s recently taken up knitting to give her brief, but creative, reprieves from writing.
