Ellen Bush

Ellen Bush was born and raised in Estill County, Kentucky. She holds a B. A. from Centre College of Kentucky and an M. F. A. in Fiction Writing from the University of Florida, where Harry Crews was her thesis director. She’s been a broadcast engineer, a teacher, a registered financial trading assistant, and a software testing engineer.

Her writing experience ranges from software technical documentation to sports writing (minor league hockey) to both creating original mythology and reworking the old stuff. She plays various musical instruments, dances like a fiend, and is a DJ for WRFL-FM, Lexington, Kentucky’s college radio station. She is far less interesting than is her writing, so don’t waste time looking at this page–go read some of it.
