Maryanne Hannan has lived in upstate New York most of her life. She teaches Latin part-time at Siena College. Her poetry has or will appear in Eclipse, Poet Lore, Pebble Lake Review, River Oak Review, Stand (UK), Xavier Review, and in several anthologies, including The Cento: A Collection of Collage Poem and Letters to the World: Poems from the Wom-Po Listserv, both from Red Hen Press.
Her interview with poet Pattiann Rogers, “Declaring the Holy,” has been reprinted in the anthology Earthlight: Spiritual Wisdom for an Ecological Age. Poems online can be found at La Fovea and Umbrella. She is also a photographer.
