Robert Baker

Bob Baker: Physician, musician, theologian, and poet
was born and raised in Canada on the great inland sea
of Lake Huron. Since 1977 he has lived in Kentucky
and is beginning to feel that soil beneath his feet
as home. He is the private practice of Cosmetic
Surgery with his wife Sharon and enjoys the comings
and goings of five sons. He is enrolled in the MFA in
Poetry at National University in San Diego. His poems
have appeared in Poet’s Podium, Jones Av, The Gnu,
tinfoildresses, and now Public Republic. He has
recently been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Past
occupations include professional photographer, dive
master on a live aboard dive boat in Indonesia, High
School Pys Ed teacher, and minister; surgery pays the
best but poetry is life.
