Therése Halscheid is author of four poetry collections: Powertalk, Without Home, Uncommon Geography, and a chapbook award, Greatest Hits.
Uncommon Geography received a Finalist Award from the Paterson Poetry Book Prize. She was awarded a Fellowship for Poetry from New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Her poetry has received awards. Her writings, both poetry and prose, have appeared in numerous magazines. For the past decade, the author has been house-sitting, while traveling widely to write. This mobility, along with simple living, has helped her to sustain her writing life. Many poems chronicle her travels across varied terrain. She teaches in varied locations.
