Zoya Marincheva

A native of Bulgaria, Zoya Marincheva has made Texas her second home for the past eight years. Her academic background is in Bulgarian Philology and English, and her curiosity in global affairs has driven her to occasional forays into economics and law.

A poet and successful literary translator, she is determined to make Bulgarian voices heard in the world.

Her translations and original work, including book and film reviews, have appeared or are forthcoming in U.S. and Bulgarian publications, among them To Topos (Univ. of Oregon), Two Lines, Washington Square Review (NYU), Erunsmagazine, Zoland Poetry, Liternet, Sega, Litclub, and various anthologies.
