Storm Lover

The stage set
tempest hurled wet
against the walls
of a small townhouse

storming about badly
blustering howling madly
eternal rage destruction
Peisinoe has something to prove

silver chime bangs
as the wind sings
like the Sirens
erotically deceptive

she is testing me
for vulnerability
only thin clapboard
between us

lamps about me flicker
wind and rain bicker
like sisters over who
can draw me out
