“Every idea, invention and creation is necessarily born in the non-material realm of the mind. Magic occurs, prayers are answered, and dreams become a reality where the mind meets the physical world. Until the individual acts, the idea remains abstract, but once there is action, the idea becomes real. It is this connection I personally experience and explore in my paintings.”

“I never know the subject matter of a painting when I lay down my first brushstrokes. I start each painting by creating an unplanned composition of lines. Those lines begin to form images and those images begin to tell a story. Strange, beautiful, colorful images of things I’ve never seen before dance across my canvases.”

“Is there anyone who hasn’t had an experience he can’t explain? My art is the clearest proof I have that there is something beyond what our five senses can perceive.”
