Hubble Space Telescope was created as a collaborative project of the European Space Agency and NASA. It was carried into orbit by the Space Shuttle Discovery in 1990. Its position allows observing infrared emission, as well as the entire electromagnetic spectrum, normally absorbed by the Earth’s atmosphere.
Starting in April, Public Republic will publish video clips in our new Multimedia Box category. The idea behind this new multimedia space is introducing visual information among the impacting texts. Some of the areas of visual coverage will be history, architecture, science, music, visual arts and cinema.
